My love of plants was sparked by countless walks in my Grandma’s garden and through wandering the woods of northeast Georgia as a child. I studied holistic health topics on my own for decades and was the go to person for friends and family when health issues arose. I did my first formal training at Florida Academy of Ayurveda, completing a 2 year clinical program as an Ayurvedic Practitioner which included an in depth study of both Ayurvedic and Western herbs.. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and the beautiful tools of this ancient Indian medicine through my class offerings at Traditions School of Herbal Studies and by offering one-on-one consultations. I furthered my studies by completing a 2 year clinical program in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Traditions and love blending the powerful tools of Western Herbalism, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I’m Heidy Toledo, a bilingual (Spanish & English) yoga teacher originally from Nicaragua, currently based in Miami, Florida. For over 14 years, I’ve been passionately teaching yoga—offering in-person and online classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced students. I lead group sessions, private lessons, corporate classes, and wellness workshops focused on holistic well-being.

I’m currently in my third year of Ayurveda studies at the Sai Ayurvedic Institute in Florida, where I’m deepening my understanding of the body-mind-spirit connection. I’m also a certified Reiki practitioner, integrating energy healing into my yoga and Ayurveda practice to help students restore balance, release tension, and reconnect with their true essence.

In my classes, I blend the wisdom of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Reiki, and during Savasana, I play the didgeridoo, creating a deeply meditative and vibrational sound experience that invites total relaxation and energetic harmony.

My mission is to guide others on a holistic wellness journey that goes beyond physical postures—merging ancient wisdom with a modern, mindful, and compassionate approach. Teaching is my passion.
