About Dr. Fernandez:
Dr. Leda Carmen Fernandez is a Medical Doctor (Cuba) and a certified Professional Ayurvedic Practitioner (USA). She is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine at Acupuncture & Massage College. With extensive clinical and therapeutic experience, she is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and Facial Specialist, certified in Shiatsu, Neuromuscular Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Ayurvedic Massage, Reiki (Master level), and Hatha Yoga.

She is the co-founder and co-director of The Natural Initiative, a platform that integrates Eastern and Western healing sciences. Her background includes work at South Miami Hospital, Lapis Spa at the Fontainebleau, and Shiva Wellness Center. She has also served as Academic Director and instructor at Healing Hands Institute, and has research experience with the University of Miami and several hospitals in Cuba.
